Saturday, February 21st, our University will have the priviledge to host the Chemistry Nobel Laureate Aaron Ciechanover who will deliver a Lectio magistralis on “Intracellular Protein Degradation: From a Vague Idea through the Lysosome and the Ubiquitin-Proteasome System and onto Human Diseases and Drug Targeting”.

The event, supported by  The Department of Experimental Medicine and Surgery and by the Department of Chemical Science and Technologies will take place at 9:00 a.m. in the Aula Fleming Faculty of Medicine (Via Montpellier, 1 – 00133 Roma).
At the end of his Lecture Professor Ciechanover will be available for an informal discussion with students and graduate students.
